Two local businesses really getting in to the spirit of Halloween are newly-opened ROF 59 on Aycliffe Business Park and Woodham-based Aycliffe Dance Academy.
The two are joining forces to bring an afternoon of ghosts and ghouls for young and old alike.
If you’re looking for an alternative spooky celebration this year then head down to ROF 59 on Durham Way South, DL5 6XN on Sunday 1st November from 2.30-5.30pm for their Super Scary Sunday afternoon.
Entry is free but some activities will be chargeable. From climbing the deadly heights and dancing in the Witchy Workshops to taking part in the Creepy Craft Corner and Frightening Face painting, not forgetting Grizzly Games and the competition of Best Dressed, there are lots to take part in.
Please note that if children are wanting to Bounce or Climb, gym wear must be worn and an adult must be present.
People of all ages are invited to go along and there is plenty to do for everyone including babies and toddlers. Aycliffe Dance Academy will be providing fun and exciting dance workshops while Mum and Dad can enjoy a range of delicious but deadly Halloween food and drinks provided by ROF 59.
Super Scary Sunday has been organised to raise much needed funds for ADA’s portable dance mirrors which will massively help to improve students dance technique, confidence and performance skills when in class.
ADA dance principal Emma Cox said: “It’s great to work with the brilliant team at ROF 59, we’ve loved creating this exciting event together.
“There has been a real sense of community spirit when organising Super Scary Sunday with a number of other local businesses contributing to making the day a success.”
