A round-up of football from Newton Aycliffe Junior Section.

Under 7’s – Travelled to Stockton Town Blues, in their first time playing on a 3G pitch. Archie made some great saves in goal, and in a great attacking display, goals were scored by Harry (3) and Joey.

Under 8’s Whites – Played Leon FC Blacks, putting a great shift. Seb was awarded parents MOTM and Louie got the opposition managers MOTM.

Under 8’s Reds – Entertained Bishop Auckland St Mary’s King’s, with goals from Kian (2) and Leo. MOTM was Thomas who worked tirelessly. Well don’t to Alife-Thomas who scored two in the development game.

Under 8’s Juniors – Travelled to Riverside Juniors Blues, Aycliffe played great football all over the pitch. Goals coming from Zack, Fletcher, Colton, and Lincoln. MOTM went to Zack for excellent work rate and decision making.

Under 10’s Reds – Played against Prissick Rovers Bayern, in a great performance, Aycliffe scored goals through Koa (2) and Andrew (2) who did enough to be awarded MOTM.

Under 10’s Blacks – Supporting the play safe weekend, travelled to Cargo Fleet Juniors. In a wonderful performance Aycliffe went goal crazy scoring seven through Alfie S (2), Jack B, Jarrod H, Louie H, and an OG. MOTM was Alife S.

Under 11’s Blacks – Hosted South Park Rangers, in a tough game it was Max who scored the goal for Aycliffe. MOTM awarded by the opposition coaches was Max who worked hard all game and got a deserved goal.

Under 11’s Whites – Put in an excellent performance, with some great football. Goals from Luca (2) and Kia. MOTM was Luca.

Under 12’s Whites – Got a wonderful 4-3 victory over Crawcrook Untied, Aycliffe playing some great football with goals from MOTM Oliver who helped himself to a hat-trick and Max.

Under 13’s – Made the short trip to visit Newton Aycliffe Youth, it wasn’t to be there day though, going down 5-0. MOTM was Jack.

Under 14’s – Travelled to Bishop, coming away with a resounding 5-0 victory, that included a clean sheet for Lochlan who saved a Bishop penalty, before saving the retaken effort. In an amazing performance Aycliffe dominated it MOTM magic Mo who grabbed all five goals.

Under 15’s Blacks – Hosted Gateshead Redheugh, starting strong with an early goal from Jake, assisted by Keaton. In a great team performance, Aycliffe come away with a 1-0 win. MOTM was Callum.

Under 15’s Whites – Supporting the play safe weekend, entertained Darlington All Star Aces being edged our 3-2 in a five-goal thriller. Goals from Taylor and Sam. MOTM was Taylor.

Under 16’s Blacks – Hosted Deerness, losing out 3-2 in a good game of football, with goals from Will and Sam. MOTM was Ollie L.

Under 16’s Whites – Won 3-1 in a feisty affair against Stockton Town. Goals from Jake, Josh, and McKenzie. MOTM was awarded to Jackson.

Under 18’s – Hosted Ferryhill in the County Cup, with only 11 players available Aycliffe dominated from the start, dominating the ball, and forcing Ferryhill into scoring an OG, before Jacob added a second before the break. Ferryhill pulled one back before Hari chipped to score. Jacob then made it 4-1 before Ferryhill scored a consolation goal. Aycliffe into the next round of the cup.
