Northallerton 1st XI v Newton Aycliffe 1st XI – weather was overcast and breezy. Northallerton won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Aycliffe’s first team suffered a heavy nine wicket defeat away at Northallerton 1sts. Patrick Howe (sponsored by Mr Tom Steel) played well and was awarded the man of the match award for Aycliffe for his stubborn innings of 15 not out and then taking the only wicket to fall when the home side batted.
Aycliffe’s points total remains at 145 from 15 games played and sees them drop down a place in the table to 8th place.
