Police officers had to deal with a spree of petty thefts in the town last week.
Last Thursday, a 17-year-old male was arrested at Tesco for theft of a bottle of alcohol. He was dealt with by means of the Youth Offending Team.
The same day, an 18-year-old male was arrested at Tesco for theft of computer games. He was dealt with by an adult caution.
And on Saturday, a 16-year-old male and a 29-year-old man were arrested for theft of alcohol from Horndale Post Office. The younger man was charged and the older male was given an unconditional caution.
