Newton Aycliffe Cricket Club have appointed their first Commercial and Marketing Manager with the remit to maximise the club’s sponsorship and advertising revenue.
Valerie Palmer, owner of graphic design company Vanila Design and Print Services, has been appointed to the role after previously lending her expertise to the Cricket Club by producing media materials and advertising boards.
Her role has now been formalised and expanded to include all areas of sponsorship and advertising as well as continuing to market the club through media releases.
The club have a number of sponsorship opportunities available including match day and player sponsorship, as well as offering pitch perimeter advertising.

November 6, 2014 at 6:45 pmIt’s great to see the local club bring in a media “professional” to help support the advertising needs, my concern is raised when the person they have appointed can’t spell “Vanilla” and can’t advertise or manage their own website.
How can we trust the fate of our club in their hands?
