Freelance media consultant based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. Martin is a trained journalist, having completed his NCTJ newspaper journalism qualification with the Middlesbrough Evening Gazette. He has since worked for the media and publications team at Middlesbrough Football Club (2000-05) and the media department at Sunderland Football Club (2005-09) before setting up his own company, Mantis Media, in the summer of 2009.
He's now Managing Editor of Mantis Media Ltd, which has offices in Newton Aycliffe and Middlesbrough, and represents a number of clients covering a broad range of industries including construction, manufacturing, education, politics and sport, as well as managing and editing all Mantis Media publications including Aycliffe Today Business, Tees Business and www.aycliffetoday.co.uk
