A round-up of Newton Aycliffe Juniors Action…
The snow on Saturday morning ensured all our scheduled games on Saturday were postponed. The games below were the fixtures which went ahead on Sunday.
Under 10’s – Travelled to face Billingham Juniors Lions in what is always an incredibly good hard-fought occasion. Alfie F was the hero on the scoresheet with two great finishes, which give the team a great result against opposition who had previously been successful in all their games. Parents MOTM was Alfie F for an impressive performance and goals which killed the game off. Opposition MOTM was Harvey P for an outstanding display in goal, making several extremely crucial saves which ensure he kept a clean sheet.
Under 13’s Juniors – Seen their recent great run of form came to a spectacular end with an 8-0 defeat away to Chilton. Aycliffe struggled throughout the game which seen Chilton play some great football. The team will look forward to putting things right next week.
