Police are investigating recent thefts in the Oakfield area of Newton Aycliffe where a white transit van has been broken into and a large number of Dewalt power tools have been stolen from inside.
This is the second time this vehicle has been targeted in recent weeks and the most recent incident saw £700 worth of goods stolen.
