THE MIDWEEK TIPSTER

April 18th, 2012 Martin Walker Football, Sport 0 comments 0

British interest in the Champions League remains with Newtonian Ross Turnbull’s Chelsea and we’re backing his Blues to conquer the bookies as they face the seemingly immovable object in Barcelona.

Chelsea have been a revelation under interim boss Roberto Di Matteo and on Sunday booked their place in one final as they crushed rivals Spurs 5-1 at Wembley in the FA Cup, to bring the Italian’s win percentage in charge to 75% from 12 games.

Just 24 hours prior, an almost full strength Barca laboured to a 2-1 win at Levante, and with this weekend’s el Classico title shoot-out with Real Madrid almost upon them, Guardiola’s men may well get caught cold at the Bridge.

Betting partners Ladbrokes are offering 4/1 on Chelsea and we simply can’t ignore such generosity.
