STEELE’S BIG CLUB SIDE IN CUP QUARTER-FINAL

December 6th, 2013 Martin Walker Football, Sport 4 comments 0

Jason Steele’s Big Club side look to continue their impressive cup form when they take on Pelton in the League Cup quarter-finals this weekend.

Aycliffe WMC, who play in the Durham and District Sunday League, beat West Auckland WMC in the County Cup last week and have been handed a trip to Stockton Hardwick in January.

But first they hope to book their place in the semi-finals of the League Cup this Sunday when they take on Pelton at Woodham Academy (December 8, 10.30am kick-off).

“It’s another big game for us but they’re all big games in this league,” said Boro ‘keeper Steele, 23, who this season teamed up with his old school, Woodham, to start hosting the Big Club’s games there.

“We’re doing well in the cups, which means we’re still playing catch-up in the league, where we’ve won three and lost three.

“But we’re hoping to win some silverware this season so Sunday’s game is really important to us – it’d be great to see some local support.”

I can’t understand why this guy (jason steele) is being supported, he’s crashed into me twice and treatened me because of an insurance claim at a later date, using the exact words ‘you want to be careful!’. He doesn’t deserve to be praised in Newton Aycliffe, most people he went to school with didn’t like him, this shows as he is completely arrogant and thinks he’s above everyone else, who knows how many cars he’s crashed into and just drove off, he tried to get away with it twice by driving off with me and got caught out. This ‘goalkeeper’ needs discipline more than anything and hopefully people might like him in life.
