Police appeal: Mum’s purse stolen after fall

August 29th, 2015 Martin Walker News 0 comments 0

Police are appealing for information after an Aycliffe mum had her purse stolen after a fall.

The incident happened at around 8.30pm on Monday, 24th August, when a lady and her four-year-old son walked through the grassed area near to St Francis Primary School, heading towards Burnhill Way.

As the female walked past a group of teenagers she fell to the ground. She was assisted to her feet by a female from the group. This female is described as being white, 15 to 17-years-old, approximately F503, slim build, blonde to mid brown hair which is very long length with blonde streaks. The female was wearing a white cap with an emblem on the front, a florescent colour top, three-quarter length jeans and trainers.

Police are appealing for this female to come forward to assist police with their enquiries.

Anyone with information please contact Emma McCabe from Newton Aycliffe CID on tel. 101, ext 742673.
