NAFC Junior Section round-up

A round-up of this week’s football from Newton Aycliffe Junior Section.

Under 7’s Juniors – Played against Boro Rangers Juve, a fantastic performance by all of the team with great passing and moving. Goals from Colton (3), Lincoln (3), Reign (2), and Reuben (2). MOTM awarded by the opposition to Lincoln for great work all over the pitch.

Under 7’s Reds – Played in a mud fest, Aycliffe played really well with goals from Kian (2) and Oscar (2). MOTM was Richie who played very well in defence.

Under 10’s Blacks – Hosted Northallerton Town, Aycliffe started off brightly with constant pressure but couldn’t find a goal. It was Tyler and Fin who eventually got the goals for Aycliffe in a much improved performance. MOTM was Kai for an energetic performance in midfield.

Under 11’s Whites – Had a friendly fixture against Heighington and enjoyed the day scoring some wonderful goals in a great display of attacking football. Goals from Jonah (2), James (2), Marley, Max, and Oliver. MOTM was Thomas for a solid performance at right back.

Under 11’s Juniors – Entertained Boro Rangers Madrid, it was an absolutely immense performance from each & every one of the players, with goals coming from Dec, Phoebe & Jonah. POTM was awarded to the whole team who work hard throughout for each other.

Under 12’s – Entertained Kadar and put in an exceptional performance. In a patient display, Aycliffe kept working and got their reward towards the end of the game with two superb goals from Layton and Evan. MOTM was Alex who was superb in defence.

Under 13’s – Entertained Bishop Aces, narrowly losing 1-0 in what was a very tight competitive match. Aycliffe couldn’t convert a first half penalty and then into the second half Bishop scored a free kick. MOTM was Huey.

Under 14’s Whites – Took all three points in a hard fought 3-1 win over South Park Rangers. Jayden and Tom give Aycliffe a two goal lead, which was halved before half time by conceding a penalty. It was Toms pace that created a break and a square ball set up Jack to finish. MOTM was Joshua who was solid in defence.

Under 14’s Blacks – Had a late fixture reverse travelling to Witton Gilbert to face Durham United Wolves. Aycliffe completely dominated the game from the start, blowing away the opposition with a 11-1 victory. Goals from Danny (4), Zak (2), Adam (2), Alex, Joseph, and Isaac. MOTM was shared between Adam and Danny.

Under 15’s Blacks – Made the long trip to Haydon Bridge, coming away with a wonderful 5-1 victory. In what was a great team performance, goals were scored by Alex, Will (2), Isaac M, and Harry R. MOTM was Kai.
