MARCHING ON TOGETHER!

August 30th, 2012 Martin Walker NAFC 0 comments 0

Around 15 Newton Aycliffe supporters will walk all the way from the town to Spennymoor this weekend, to see their side take on the three-times champions.

In a fundraising effort dubbed ‘Marching On Together’, the supporters will trek the nine miles or so from Moore Lane Park to Brewery Field on Saturday.

Organiser Barry Waters (pictured), the club’s sponsorship manager, said: “We’ve got good numbers again, about 15, so it should raise us a decent amount of money again this year.

“We raised about £1,200 last year and we’d hope to raise a similar amount again this year.

“It’s a lot of fun and everyone who takes part really enjoys it.”

Aycliffe Today will bring you pictures and videos from the walk next week.
