Glamorous VIP treat for Tesco winners

April 12th, 2017 Martin Walker News 0 comments 0

The Tesco Extra store in Newton Aycliffe has treated four lucky customers to a glamorous VIP experience following its recent revamp.

Harley Wilkins, Shaun Morrell, Camille Wilde and Ruth Smith were all nominated by family and friends for the special instore experience.

The four ladies were driven to the store by a chauffeur in a limousine, where they were greeted with a glass of champagne and treated to an all-star makeover.

As part of the experience the winners were gifted a £100 gift card to spend at any of the Arcadia Group stores.

Winners were also treated to a gift bag each containing £50-worth of beauty products and a delicious lunch at the newly revamped café.

A professional make-up artist was on hand to give the winners a make-over and talk them through the best products for them, whilst a personal stylist helped them pick out some new outfits.

The Tesco Extra store on Greenway has seen the addition of clothing brands Dorothy Perkins, Wallis and Burton.

The store has also seen a host of changes to improve customers’ shopping experience.

Manager Helen Maynard, pictured above (left) with the winners, said: “To celebrate the improvements to the store we wanted to do something special for customers and so we invited them to nominate someone who they felt deserved to be treated.

“We have so many wonderful customers and wanted the chance to do something to thank them for their loyal custom.

“All four ladies who received the VIP experience were voted for by family and friends and we are glad they had a lovely time!

“They all deserved a reward and we hope that they will treat themselves to something special with the Arcadia gift card.”
