Horndale Community Association will meet next week to discuss its free Community Fun Day being held later this summer.
The association is hosting the day on August 15 at Greenfield Community College, with entertainment including a small fun fair, petting zoo, crazy critters, pony rides, face painting, professor nincompoop, bouncy castles, trampolines, Police, Fire Brigade, Army and much more.
“Thank you to Newton Aycliffe County Councillors, Livin, Pheonix Club, Newton Aycliffe Rotary Club, Great Aycliffe Town Council, Durham Constabulary and Greenfield Community College who have supported this important community event,” said association chair Philip Clark.
The group is due to meet on Wednesday, July 3, at Greenfield Arts Centre, starting at 6pm with refreshments at 5.45pm.
“Meetings and events are open to everyone regardless of where you live or work we are an open and relaxed group working to improve the lives of everyone,” added Phil.
