FOOTBALL CLUB SEEKS NEW PHYSIO

Newton Aycliffe FC are looking for a new physio after Kevan Spanton was forced to resign due to a promotion at work.

It leaves new boss Dan Mellanby with a crucial hole to fill in his backroom staff.

“Its a blow to us,” said Mellanby.

“Kev came to us freshly qualified looking for an opportunity. He quickly became very popular in the dressing room and was very good at his job. On the back of his success with us he has been offered full time employment in the field, and we wish him every success.”

Aycliffe are keen to move on as quickly as possible. Pre season training is starting this week, a notorious time for injuries, and as such want to be prepared for all eventualities.

Any interested parties are invited to contact General Manager Dan Lewis on 07581 784726, or [email protected] for an informal discussion.
