Following the success of the U13 Boys District Cricket Festival, Woodham Academy U13s cricket team were invited to the Durham County School Games Finals Day held at Maiden Castle.
Just to be at the event and be part of the top six schools in the county was an outstanding achievement.
Throughout the day the team showed great spirit and played with confidence.
The competition was tough and of a high standard, in which the team played with great desire and resilience and puts the cricket academy in a positive position for next year’s competitions.
