Newton Aycliffe FC return to league action at the Ashcourt Stadium this weekend.
Brian Atkinson’s side face bottom-of-the-league Blyth Town at Moore Lane on Saturday (3pm), hoping to build on their two-match unbeaten league run.
It’s a repeat fixture of their 3-0 win at home to Blyth Town in the FA Trophy last weekend.
The Newtonians have experienced a mixed run of results in their opening 2025-26 campaign, losing a Durham Challenge Cup game at Crook in midweek.
But their last league outing ended in a 0-0 draw at home to Bridlington, which followed a 3-2 derby win at Bishop Auckland.
Aycliffe are currently 11th in the Northern Premier League Division One East, with two wins, a draw and three defeats from their first six league games.
Aycliffe have been drawn away to Heaton Stannington in the second qualifying round of the Isuzu FA Trophy. The tie is due to take place on Saturday, September 20. Full details will be confirmed in due course.
Their league game at Garforth Town has now been rearranged for Tuesday, September 30, which follows another home game against Ossett United on Saturday, September 27.
