U10 Girls v Bishop Auckland Pinks
A tough game in tough conditions but Aycliffe started the stronger and finished the stronger.
Poppy B opened the scoring with a 25 yard shot which dipped over the keeper and she was first to the ball to stab the ball across the line for her second. Bishop then scored a penalty but the margin was restored by Phoebe. Again the visitors scored, but Poppy B smashed home a free kick for her hattrick, then Poppy H completed the scoring for an excellent win

Wrenkenton Nou Camp v U11 Girls
A tough fixture and it started pretty even with both sides having chances. After 15 mins Wrekenton scored and it stayed 1-0 HT. The second half Aycliffe came out fighting. Phoebe scored to level the game before Mia scored to put us in front. The game was still in the balance until 5 mins from the end when a team goal allowed Evie to score our 3rd goal

U14 Eagles 4 v 1 Harton and Westoe
A fantastic performance from The Eagles where they dominated the game. Passing was massively improved from previous games creating chances in front of goal.
Goals from Olly C, Kaiden, Joel and Adam MOM Ollie F

Darlington Locomotives 4 v 2 U14 Girls
The most frustrating of games for the girls. Aycliffe played some good football at times, as darlo tried their best to break up the play. We just couldn’t find our stride and Darlo caught us on the break multiple times. We look forward to meeting this team in the cup in a few weeks

Foundation of Light 1 v 4 U13 Girls
Excellent all-round performance from front to back today from our team. First competitive goals for Courtney and Scarlett. Player of the match Liv strong and calm in defence.

Billingham Jnrs 3 v 1 U12 Eagles
Tough match against a side who took their chances when we did not. First half was evenly matched and a half time was 1-1 with a goal from Brandon. However, during the second half Billingham stepped up and converted twice. MOM Oliver

Boldon CA 1 V 2 U13 Angels
Rainy conditions on a poor pitch with long grass made for a scrappy affair. Boldon played the conditions better and scored a deserved goal. We then grew into the game and started doing the basics well. We managed to squeeze in an equaliser in the first half through Poppy. We got our winner in the second through Evie. Poppy (players) & Layken (coaches)

Prissick Rovers 2 v 1 U13 Boys
The lads passed the ball around with confidence and started to create opportunities, but unable to capitalise.HT 0-0. 2nd half started and Prissick scored first, before the lads rallied for the equaliser. Prissick got the winner late on, despite a valiant effort from the lads.

Redcar Town Lionesses 1 v 1 U16 Girls
The girls got off to a solid start with plenty of possession and chances. It took until the 54th minute for Aycliffe to open the score, with a superb corner and great header from Keira-Leigh. All was looking well until the 3rd minute of extra time when Redcar equalised and the girls came away with a draw instead of a win.

South Shields 5 v 2 U14 Girls (Sunday)
Came up against a better side as they passed it around well and we conceded two quick goals before pulling one back through Romilly. South Shields scored two more before HT. We competed much better in the second half and responded well. South Shields scored a 5th before Evie P scored a consolation goal. Star players Eveie & Evie H.

U9 Wildcats v Herrington
Another great performance from the girls. Two goals from Sophie, both assisted by Elsie, who also scored one. Brooke, Alice R & Alice H, all worked hard in midfield, whilst Erin, Georgia & Penny (GK) were all composed at the back to keep a clean sheet. POTM Georgia (Parents) & Brooke (Coaches)

U16 Eagles 6 v 2 Wolviston
A comfortable win for the Eagles as they dominated the first half creating plenty of chances. A first half hat trick from Tom and a goal from Matthew K HT 4-0 The second half was more difficult due to heavy rain. The visitors pulled one back then a great goal from Noah made it 5-1. The visitors kept pushing scoring again but a cracking header from Travis made it 6-2

Seaton Carew v U9 Eagles
Two early goals from Adam L as the Eagles started really well. The whole team battled hard making some great tackles and were under pressure for large spells of the game with Harry M making some outstanding saves to win the game for the Eagles.
