Hmmm.. racially motivated offence? Sounds good.. but good old theft of vehicle is not reported on here…
    Wonder why?
At a guess vehicle theft isn’t as good in the media as a racial crime, even when it is solved and someone is charged with the offence!.
Whoop, so some old geezer who was brought up in a time when it was ok to be bigoted has a pop. Yes it’s upsetting to someone, but really, in the grand scheme of things the taking of someone’s property is surely a far more serious offence than ruffling feathers?
I’m a white female who has been called names and who has had missiles thrown at my home.. who would really care about it unless I said I was a Muslim or Polish or anything other than a hetrosexual, white C of E British woman???
Please.. can the real crimes be reported on here and the real victims given some sense of justice??
Or is this another place where ethnic minorities get priority over the majority of honest law abiding British nationals?

I’m not sure what you’re implying Jacqueline. AT reports on all the crimes it hears about from the Aycliffe policing team.

      A few recent examples:

You didn’t make any comment about those ones though. Strange.
