Our very own Martin Walker talks about Friday night’s exciting football match between Newton Aycliffe and Sunderland.
The Aycliffe Today editor, who’s also Newton Aycliffe FC’s media manager, is the man responsible for bringing the biggest-ever football match to the town.
Friday night’s game, which kicks off at 7.30pm, will be Sunderland’s first visit to Moore Lane Park, and the first time a Premier League club has been to Aycliffe.
