The Newton Aycliffe Youth Development team has secured Home Office funding to support a new vehicle education project being held at Aycliffe Youth Centre.
The one-day-a-week course, for people aged 14 to 25, runs over six weeks, covering a variety of modules to improve car safety awareness and the consequences of dangerous driving.
