TICKETS FLY OUT FOR MARDI GRAS MASQUERADE!

March 20th, 2012 Martin Walker News 0 comments 0

More than 100 tickets for a charity ball later this year have already been sold within days of the event being launched.

Local fundraising girls The Banana Army – an Aycliffe-based group who organised a string of events last year, culminating with their Forget Me Not Ball – have announced their marquee gig for 2012.

The Mardi Gras Masquerade, sponsored by Kitchen & Bedroom Creation, will be held at Hardwick Hall in Sedgefield on Friday 28th September.

Tickets went on sale at the weekend, with more than 50 going within the first hour!

Proceeds go to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and, with the help and support of many local businesses, it’s hoped this year’s evening will prove to be just as spectacular as last year’s.

As well as a four-course meal, gusts will be wowed by entertainment including live music and a grand auction with fantastic prizes up for grabs.

Rooms at Hardwick Hall are also available, currently on sale direct with the hotel, and many good booking sites for those who require accommodation.

Tickets for the Mardi Gras Masquerade are priced £35 each (plus booking fee).
