Thrive Marketing employs apprentice for latest marketing role

April 20th, 2017 Martin Walker Business 0 comments 0

Thrive Marketing has recently undergone a number of developments as part of its ongoing growth plans, including a move to the centrally-based Xcel Centre.

As part its move the company also taken on new inbound marketing assistant Rachael Farley.

The 19-year-old, from Ferryhill, has joined Thrive as she studies for her Level 3 advanced apprenticeship in social media and digital marketing.

The school leaver joined soon after finishing her education at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form, in Darlington, in 2016, where she obtained A Levels in Media: Communication and Production, English Literature and Sociology.

Thrive inbound marketing manager Sarah Burns, pictured above (right), with Rachael, said: “It’s been wonderful to have Rachael join the team and embrace all of her work with such enthusiasm and it’s with huge thanks to Baltic Training that we’ve been able to find such a great fit for our business.

“Rachael has even started to take the lead on some of our accounts and she has showed such a high level of ability, and capacity for learning, that we’re completely confident there’s a long term career path available for her at Thrive.”

Rachael joins the organisation at an exciting time as the marketing agency has huge plans to develop their offering for local businesses.

Creative director Johnny Woods added: “We’re really enthused by the development of our marketing department and Rachael’s addition has been an exciting one as it’s allowed us to focus more time on putting high-level strategies and next level tools in place, not just for our social media marketing services, but also our wider marketing campaign offering.”

The agency currently provides marketing, web and branding services to organisations in a cross-section of sectors, across the UK.
