Brodie Millichap picks out this week’s TV highlights…

FIVE PICKS OF THE WEEK

Robson’s Extreme Fishing Challenge: Monday 9pm, Channel 5.
Robson Green travels to Alaska for what will be his last fishing trip of the series. Here he will come up against some veteran fishermen as well as taking in the sights of Resurrection Bay, Annette Island and the Kenai Peninsula.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Tuesday 9pm, Channel 5.
The pressure is on when the team must find Russell and Catherine, who have gone on the run, before Mark Gabriel’s hitmen. Otherwise the consequences could be grave. This episode will also be Mark Helgenberger’s last-ever episode.

Secret Eaters: Wednesday 8pm, Channel 4.
This week sees host Anna Richardson travel to Hull to meet couple Dawn and Mike and their lodger Gareth, who are baffled about their increase in weight. They have their eating habits monitored and the hidden cameras reveal some haunting truths. Also, a team of volunteers test the theory that a smaller plate size can fool people into feeling full.

Britain’s Lost Routes With Griff Rhys Jones: Thursday 8pm, BBC1.
In the first of a four-part series, the popular Welsh actor takes the route which Queen Elizabeth I took through the Cotswolds. Later episodes will see him explore many of Britain’s most famous and historic pathways.

Elizabeth: Queen, Wife, Mother: Friday 9pm, ITV1.
Alan Titchmarsh narrates an informative profile of the monarch, taking in her reign and her family life as Queen, wife and mother. Expect to see contributions from the people closest to her, including children Prince Andrew and Princess Anne.

Soap Watch:
Coronation Street sees the unfortunate Tommy Duckworth take a beating this week at the hands of loan shark Rick. Tommy’s Dad Terry left him in the mess, but it is going to be Tommy who has to get himself out of it.
In Emmerdale, Alicia is arrested for assault when she punches Val and she is set to face jail – unless Val drops the charges. But will she?
Eastenders sees the notorious Derek Branning set to go straight and give up crime as he looks to win the affection of his long-lost daughter Alice. But will he be able to move on from his past?
