Five Picks of the Week

Jungle Special Inside Nature’s Giants: Monday 8pm, Channel 4.
The last of the series sees the team head to Borneo in Southeast Asia as they dissect some of nature’s wonders. Expect to see giant insects, huge trees and other oversized organisms being dissected by Mark Evans and his trustee team.

The Syndicate: Tuesday 9pm, BBC1.
In the last part of the popular drama series the past comes back to haunt Jamie when the local drug lord pays him a scary visit. Elsewhere, Stuart is stuck between a rock and a hard place when he struggles to choose out of Leanne and Amy.

Waterloo Road: Wednesday 8pm, BBC1.
The last of the series sees the school preparing to close its doors for one last time. However, headmaster Michael has a plan to keep Waterloo Road alive. Elsewhere, Josh is the latest to be dragged into the gang fighting as it once again escalates to a new level.

Queen Victoria’s Last Love: Wednesday 9pm, Channel 4.
One-off special looking back at Queen Victoria’s relationship with Indian servant Abdul Karim. The relationship lead to jealousy amongst the royals when he rose from waiter to become one of Victoria’s closest confidants and teachers.

8 out of 10 Cats: Friday 9pm, Channel 4.
The hit-comedy panel show returns this week as Jimmy Carr welcomes back team captains Sean Lock and Jon Richardson as they take a look at the weeks topical events. They will be joined by different guests each week.

Coronation Street sees Sally and Kevin back together as they share a kiss over breakfast this week. Sally, however, confesses she can’t live with Kevin’s son Jack, leaving the car mechanic with a massive decision on his hands.
In Eastenders, Bianca finds herself in trouble when her stricken poverty leads her to make an incredibly rash decision when she attempts to steal a money belt from one of the market stalls. She is soon caught and could face the possibility of jail.
Emmerdale sees Chas end her affair with Cameron this week when she seems to finally come to her senses on Friday. But, does she really mean this is the end?
