Five Picks Of The Week

The Great British Bake Off: Tuesday 8pm, BBC2.
The final four compete against each other as the amateur bakers attempt to make the final. The fab four are set the challenge of making a trio of classic patisserie confections, but drama strikes when two of the contestants see their fraisier cakes collapse.

All Star Mr and Mrs: Wednesday 8pm, ITV1.
Host Philip Schofield welcomes several celeb couples to take part in the fun quiz as they find out how much they really know about each other. The couples are: Martin Kemp and his wife Shirlie Holliman, actress Jennifer Ellison and her husband Rob and magician Paul Daniels with his wife Debbie McGee.

DCI Banks: Wednesday 9pm, ITV1.
The popular crime drama returns for a new series this week and Banks finds himself in an awkward position when new recruit Helen Morton finds evidence linking the detective to the body of a murder victim.

Hunted: Thursday 9pm, BBC1.
Superspy Sam is given a fortunate break this week as she is able to get up and close to her target when she is invited into his home to tutor his son. Will she be able to find any hard-hitting evidence though?

Alan Carr: Chatty Man: Friday 10pm, Channel 4.
Cheryl Cole pops in for a chat with Alan as she looks to promote her new book, Cheryl: My Story. McFly are also around and there is music from Leona Lewis.

Coronation Street sees Deidre in shock this week as she discovers Ken is back in touch with the woman who wrecked their marriage all those years ago. Deidre gives Ken an ultimatum: resign from the job or lose her.
Eastenders sees Phil learn that he’s a grandfather when it’s revealed that Ben is the dad of Lola’s baby Lexi.
Emmerdale sees the Homefields Festival kick off with Scouting For Girls and The Proclaimers on the bill. The real intrigue though is in the devilish scam that Declan and Katie are trying to pull, will they get away with it?
