Five Picks of the Week

Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares USA: Monday 10pm, Channel 4.
Chef Gordon Ramsay returns for a new series of his popular TV show. The foul-mouthed Scot travels to Plainfield, New Jersey, to help sort out the Blackberry’s restaurant. He soon clashes with owner Shelley, who refuses to come round to Gordon’s way of thinking. Will she change in time to save her failing restaurant?

Rita Simons: My Daughter, Deafness and Me: Tuesday 10.40pm, BBC1.
Emotive documentary that follows Eastenders star Rita Simons (Roxy Mitchell) and her husband Theo as they are forced to decide the best course of action for their six-year-old daughter Maiya, who has hearing difficulties and could one day face the prospect of becoming entirely death. They can either embrace the deaf world, learning how to use sign language and so forth. Or, they can give her hearing through the use of technology.

Four Rooms: Wednesday 8pm, Channel 4.
Anita Rani returns for a new series of Four Rooms as she invites members of the public to attempt to sell their art, antiques and collections to four dealers – Jeffrey Salmon, Andrew Lamberty, Gordon Watson and Celia Sawyer. Expect to see a chair used by JK Rowling, artwork by Marlon Brando and Francis Bacon’s paintbrushes.

The Apprentice: Wednesday 9pm, BBC1.
Alan Sugar begins another search to find a candidate worthy of setting up a business with him – with an investment of £250,000 promised for the winner. The first week sees the candidates split into two teams, boys versus girls, as they look to buy blank goods, add their design and then sell on the streets of London.

Inside the Titanic: Thursday 8pm, Channel 5.
A drama-documentary telling the story of the sinking of passenger liner RMS Titanic in April 2012. The film follows the men working in the ship’s machine rooms and their desperate attempts to save the vessel.

Soap Watch:
Coronation Street sees the identity of Frank’s killer slowly revealed this week as the heat intensifies. The identity of the killer is sure to send shockwaves down the cobbled streets.
Emmerdale sees Cain almost come to a gruesome end as he is left trapped in the garage which has been set on fire by a furious Adam. At first Adam leaves him trapped in their but after a word from his conscience he rushes back to try and rescue his nemesis.
In Eastenders Ben faces questions from the police over his false statement. Phil is left to panic over the outcome of their investigations.
