George Beautyman will be joining the Horndale Residents Association at their next meeting on Wednesday (November 6).

George will talk about the historical importance the Pumping Station had on Darlington and also the great work the team do to secure it for the future generations.

The meeting at Greenfield Arts Centre sis due to start at 6pm with refreshments at 5.45pm.

HRA’s race night held in September was a great success with over 90 people enjoying the night, we raised £670.00 which will be used to subsidise the children’s Christmas event on the Teesside Princess Boat.

The group’s next trip is to Harrogate Christmas Market in November, which sold very quickly.

HRA’s AGM, meanwhile, is due to be held on December 4.
