As England celebrated Euro qualifier victory over the weekend, Newton Aycliffe Juniors FC were preparing for one of their busiest times of the year.
The youth football club was due to host their summer tournament on Sunday followed by their annual presentation day this weekend.
The summer tournament saw five-a-side games for Under 7’s, 7 a-side for Under 8’s and 9’s with 11 a-side format for under 13’s and 16’s, with 30 teams and 17 different clubs represented at the Sunnydale competition.

NAJFC’s presentation day will be a celebration of the achievements of all our sides throughout the season and will be hosted at Sunnydale Leisure Centre from 10am this Saturday.
