SUMMER FAIR PROVES POPULAR

July 16th, 2013 Martin Walker Community 0 comments 0

summer fair at woodham

Bright sunshine and blue skies welcomed visitors to a wonderful summer event held at Woodham Academy last week.

With free activities running throughout the morning, the event offered a host of fun and games including art workshops and creative activities which saw families creating elaborately decorated masks, finger puppets and giant spiders!

The Jungle Run inflatable had the children tackling tunnels, tubes, scramble nets and a huge slide, whilst others created delicious smoothies using a range of exotic fruits in the Let’s Get Cooking workshops.

Woodham Sports Academy worked non-stop on American Football.  For some, there was only just enough time for a quick stop to have their faces painted.

Refreshments were available throughout and after an exhausting morning of enjoying all the activities on offer, a light lunch was included to round off the event.
