Woodham Academy’s newly established photography cohort, along with their photography teacher Richard Gore, headed on a field trip to Newcastle for the day, earlier this month.
They spent the day collecting a portfolio of photographs inspired by their surroundings.
Initial photographs were taken, on route to Newcastle, of the Angel of the North.
Once in Newcastle the students took numerous photos of the Baltic Art Gallery, The Glass House and the bridges over the river Tyne.
The group completed a loop around the city taking more photos of Grey street, Windows Arcade, The Cathedral, Central Station and the High Level Bridge.
“The students had a great time and have taken a good collection of photographs which they will spent time editing over the next few weeks,” said Mr Gore.
