Strong first year for Aycliffe-based Fleet Recruitment

November 5th, 2015 Martin Walker Business 0 comments 0

A Newton Aycliffe recruitment agency is aiming to grow after enjoying a strong first year on Aycliffe Business Park.

Fleet Recruitment, launched in December 2014, provides recruitment and training services spanning a wide range of sectors including sales and marketing, commercial and automotive.

Fleet’s six-man team, based at St Cuthbert’s House on the park, is already working with a number of well-known national brands from global manufacturing firms to world-renowned luxury car dealerships.

“The business was born out of a frustration with the industry and we wanted to run a business based on key values, not false promises,” said managing director Neil O’Connor.

“We have had an incredibly successful first year working with a number of the UK’s most well-known brands.

“Client feedback has been outstanding – a testament to our deep routed values of honesty, fairness, transparency and great communication.

“Our experienced and specialist recruiters ensure that we manage our candidate’s expectations about the company, the role, culture, targets and of course the rewards.”

Head of sales Michelle Spinks added: “Our approach is very simple. If we don’t truly understand the competencies, qualifications, experience and cultural fit required, we won’t take on a vacancy.

“We have to understand the impact a new employee needs to make and how quickly they need to make it, be it operationally or financially.

“Understanding the importance role and the part our applicant plays is crucial.

“Our fact-find is extremely thorough and our clients have been surprised at some of the questions we ask and the lengths we go to. It’s something we are very proud of.”

Fleet Recruitment operates a very lean business model that enables them to combine their outstanding service levels with very competitive pricing.

They have severed recruitment costs for many clients and fix fees at one competitive percentage irrespective of the size of the salary.
