Stadium hosts final Tees Business LIVE of the year

December 7th, 2022 Martin Walker Business 0 comments 0

A fascinating discussion by four of the Tees region’s business leaders headlined a well-attended networking event at Boro’s Riverside Stadium.

Around 80 delegates attended Tees Business LIVE – the latest in a series of popular daytime networking events organised by Tees Business, sister publication to Aycliffe BUsiness.

And the PD Ports-sponsored event featured a Christmas cracker of a line-up, with four of the region’s best-known and most influential business leaders on the panel to consider a variety of business-related topics.

PD Ports chief executive Frans Calje OBE – voted the region’s most inspiring business leader in a Tees Business poll – plus Middlesbrough College CEO Zoe Lewis, major franchise owner Mike Racz and Durata director Alison McGee discussed a range of subjects, notably how businesses are coping in today’s challenging economic conditions.

Before and after the discussion, there was a chance for the 100 guests to mingle with like-minded business folk and discuss the parts they are playing in the Teesside economy.

There was also the chance to pick up the latest edition of Tees Business magazine – a glossy 180-page publication, hot off the presses, and featuring in-depth articles about many of our region’s businesses, including many of those attending the event.

The Middlehaven Suite at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium was a fitting venue for the final Tees Business LIVE of the year, with the event sponsored by PD Ports.

Other events this year have been held at the likes of Trinity Centre North Ormesby, AV Dawson’s new HQ The Staiths and Middlesbrough College.

Tees Business director Martin Walker said: “We were delighted to hold our latest networking event back at the football club during the World Cup.”
