SPRING INTO ACTION AT THE PCP!

March 21st, 2012 Martin Walker News, Sport 0 comments 0

The Pioneering Care Centre runs a variety of lifestyle and exercise classes to encourage people to live a healthier lifestyle.

Classes are open to anyone of any age and ability.

Nia is a non-impact workout for people of all ability levels. Its unique blend of dance, martial arts like tai chi and healing arts like yoga allows your body to move the way it was designed to move.
Nia classes are a great way to get healthy while learning about a fun, expressive, cardiovascular practice.
FREE taster session on Tuesday 3 April, 10.30-11.30am

Kettlebells are cast iron weights; a Kettlebell workout can burn more calories more quickly than a lengthy cardio session because the constant movement naturally combines weight work with cardio. Mondays and Wednesdays 5.15-5.45pm Cost £2.50

Boxercise combines boxing moves and stances with aerobic choreography to improve people’s total body conditioning. Mondays and Wednesdays 5.45-6.45pm Cost £3.50

Or if you really have a spring in your step, take advantage of the special ‘Fit for 2’ offer- Kettlebells and Boxercise for just £5!

Yoga is for anyone wishing to improve their body, mind and spirit. The yoga class is designed to completely stretch to maximize physical and mental energy, increase flexibility, improve body shape and enhance relaxation. Every Friday 10- 11.30am, cost £5.

These are just a few of the many activities on offer at the Pioneering Care Centre, Cobblers Hall, Carers Way, Newton Aycliffe DL5 4SF to help people improve their fitness and quality of life.
