Rotarians bowled over by ten pin experience

March 14th, 2017 Martin Walker Community 0 comments 0

Members of Newton Aycliffe Rotary Club recently swapped their Rotary badge pins for pins of an altogether different type.

They took time out from their weekly community service activities to demonstrate their ten pin bowling skills at the town’s Planet Leisure Centre.

And at the end of an evening, trophies for the highest scoring male and female players were awarded to Rtn David Hogg and Rtn Angela Stevenson (pictured with their trophies).

They were congratulated this week by club President Nora Scott.

Angela said later: “Whether you are a ‘King Pin’ or a ‘Gutter Ball’ specialist, bowling is certainly a great way to relax and have fun.”
