Prestigious recognition for aspiring Aycliffe photographer

August 5th, 2020 Martin Walker Community 0 comments 0

Former Greenfield student Lauren Fletcher is to feature in the prestigious 2020 Photographers Awards Book, having been selected as one of the finalists in the category celebrating student talent.

Lauren left Greenfield in 2017 and was inspired to specialise in photography following a school visit to an exhibition at Bowes Museum based upon the work of photographer Tim Walker.

Lauren continued her studies in photography and she is presently a student at Northern School of Art.

“It is a brilliant achievement to be recognised in such a prestigious publication and a sign of wonderful possibilities to come,” said a Greenfield statement.

“We wish Lauren the very best for what promises to be a creative and successful future.”

Greenfield Community College are a specialist Arts and Science School and are committed to encouraging a broad and balance curriculum that allows for creativity and extended learning opportunities.
