POLICE NAME LOCAL OFFENDERS

March 24th, 2012 Martin Walker News 0 comments 0

Police continue their tough name-and-shame policy this week as they publish more local offenders.

In his latest blog on Aycliffe Today, Neighbourhood Policing Team Sergeant Mark Edwards has informed our readers about two separate crimes in the town, involving four people.

Three young men were arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning on suspicion of a garage burglary in the Gunn Lane area of the town.

Lewis McCormick (19), Wayne Gray (23), and a 17-year-old male were subsequently charged with the offence and will be appearing at Aycliffe Magistrates Court.

Twenty-four-year-old female Kirsty Jutchinson, from the Ferryhill area, was arrested and charged with several counts of shoplifting from premises in Aycliffe town centre. She will also be appearing at court very soon.
