Police issue warnings to off-road bike users

July 23rd, 2015 Martin Walker News 0 comments 0

Newton Aycliffe police have issued three warnings to people over the misuse of off-road bikes in the town.

Officers say they’re aware of a number of complaints relating to off-road bikes and quads in recent days.

In a statement, the police said: “We are continuing to monitor the calls and investigate any information that comes to us relating to the people responsible.

“Over the last three days, three warning notices have been issued to people riding motorbikes in an anti-social manner.

“If anybody has any information relating to anyone riding vehicles in an anti social manner please contact us.”

Anyone with concerns about the use of off-road or quad bikes can call police on 101 and ask to speak to Aycliffe Police, or you can message the Aycliffe team via their Facebook page by clicking here.
