POLICE HUNT AYCLIFFE PERVERT

April 13th, 2012 Martin Walker News 0 comments 0

Police in Newton Aycliffe are trying to trace a man who indecently exposed himself to two teenage girls.

The man was driving slowly along Honister Place, Newton Aycliffe, in a black VW Golf when he drew up alongside two 13-year-old girls and exposed himself.

The man is described as white, in his 40s with dark hair brushed forward and facial stubble. He was wearing a black T-shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms.

The car was a five-door Golf with tinted windows. The incident took place at 1.45pm on Friday, February 17.

DC Gary Walton from the Newton Aycliffe Serious Crime Team said: “We’ve followed a number of lines of enquiry but have been unable to trace this man.

“We’d like to speak to anyone who recognises him from the description given, or has information about the car.”

Anyone with information can contact Durham Police on 101 and ask for the Serious Crime Team at Newton Aycliffe or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
