Newton Aycliffe’s Neighbourhood Police Team’s boss is set to host the first online PACT meeting this evening.
Acting Inspector Mark Edwards will hold the one-hour web chat on the police team’s Facebook page on Tuesday night (6.30-7.30pm).
The forum will be an online version of the police’s regular PACT (Police And Communities Together) meetings, when members of the public can ask questions and raise concerns.
“If it proves popular then it could become a regular means of community engagement,” said Mark.
