Police appeal after multiple overnight crimes

November 25th, 2015 Martin Walker News 0 comments 0

Newton Aycliffe police are appealing for help after a number of crimes were committed earlier this week.

Officers say several incidents, involving sheds and garages being broken into and also vehicles being broken into at locations across the town, happened overnight from Monday 23rd November through to Tuesday 24th November.

Police are also asking people with CCTV at their homes to help.

A statement said: “Can we ask that any residents of Newton Aycliffe that have CCTV at their homes please make contact with ourselves and check their CCTV cameras to see if any persons are out through the night or if any persons are acting or seen in suspicious circumstances?”.

Residents can contact PCSO 7430 Gavin Laycock on telephone number 101 or send Aycliffe police a private message via their Facebook page by clicking here.
