North East devolution was discussed at a meeting of the Aycliffe Business Park meeting on Thursday.
Business people gathered from around the park and, on this rare occasion, visitors from outside the business park were permitted to join the latest news and networking event.
Durham County Council leader Simon Henig and Graham Robb, chair of the Institute of Directors, both gave interesting talks on the subject of devolution and what it means for the North East.
MP Phil Wilson also attended the event held at the Xcel Centre.
