Nominate a garden that makes you smile

June 18th, 2019 Martin Walker Community 0 comments 0

Aycliffe has long been associated with spectacular floral displays and to continue this tradition Great Aycliffe Town Council are seeking nominations for the best floral displays.

Residents are being asked to nominate gardens around the parish for an award. Applicants will be considered for:

• best garden (must be front garden)

• best hanging basket display

• best commercial property.

In addition, the council will be awarding separate awards for the best allotment plots in Aycliffe.

The gardens can be nominated throughout the summer with the deadline being Friday August 23. Nominations should be sent to Great Aycliffe Town Council, School Aycliffe Lane, Newton Aycliffe. Co. Durham DL5 6QF or emailed to [email protected]
