The first 2025-26 round-up of Newton Aycliffe Juniors Action…

W/E 07/09/2025

Under 7’s – Played against Hartlepool Wolves in their first game, enjoying the experience. Goals from Eli & Jamie.

Under 8’s Juniors – Played against Barnard Castle in their first game, scoring some wonderful goals through Noah (3), Arron & Oscar. In The development game, Jacob M (2), Arron, Noah (2) & Oscar scored the goals with Zack playing amazing in goal.

Under 9’s Blues – Started their league campaign away to Kader Athletic, with goals from Leland (4) and Nate (2). Oliver and Harrison F kept a clean sheet between them, playing a half each in goal. PPOTM was Leland and POTM was Jude.

Under 10’s Reds – Faced Riverside Juniors at Woodham in a very close game. Bear grabbed Aycliffe’s goal from Michael’s corner. POTM was Gazza and PPTOM was Bear.

Under 10’s Juniors – Kicked off the season away to Stockton Town FC in a great end to end game, Zach scored Aycliffe’s goal. MOTM was Lincoln.

Under 11’s Whites – Entertained Prissick City, playing some brilliant football, Thomas scored from outside the box, Olly then produced a superb solo run to curl past the keeper. Max was outstanding in defence; Brodie battled for every ball and Ozzy pulled off two world-class saves late on.

Under 11’s – Played against Middleton Rangers Spitfires, battling back to score goals through Noah A, Isaac D & new signing Alan F, with bagged two. MOTM was Harvey P, who made some great saves.

Under 12’s Reds – Travelled to Great Ayton, controlling the game from start to finish with a convincing 6-1 victory, goals coming from Andrew (2), Latitia, Bryan, Koa & Louie. MOTM was new captain Fynley who was outstanding in defence.

Under 12’s Blacks – Entertained Billingham United Hornets, grabbing an impressive 4-1 win. Goals from JJ, Jack B, Alfie & Riley. POTM was awarded to Liam who made some phenomenal saves.

Under 13’s Whites – Played against Gateshead, drawing 1-1. Jarrod scored Aycliffe’s goal from the halfway line.

Under 13’s Blacks – Travelled to face Eaglescliffe Elimentis Royals, putting in a masterclass of a performance with a 9-0 win. MOTM Riley led the scoring with four goals, Kai (2), Lucas (2) & Ryley rounded up the scoring.

Under 14’s Whites – Entertained Swalwell, coming away with a fantastic 5-1 win, goals coming from James (2), Harry, Oliver & MOTM Allem.

Under 14’s Blacks – Played Whiteleas Eagles, in a tight game, Aycliffe won it 2-1 with goals from Olly & Kaylm. MOTM was shared between for team for a great performance.

Under 14’s – Travelled to Leven and coming home with a comfortable 6-0 win, goals from Jonah (4), Jake and Lucas. MOTM went to Olly B for a fantastic defensive performance.

Under 15’s – Kicked off the season at home to Shildon, drawing 2-2. Goals from Layton W & Kodi. MOTM was Lucas who was superb.

Under 23’s – Lost at home in the league trophy against Ouston Cherry Tree, conceding two early goals, Ethan pulled one back before conceding again. then got caught chasing and conceded a third. Ethan Stoker scored for us.

W/E 14/09/2025

Under 8’s Juniors – Played against Northallerton Town Reds in a game full of goals, with MOTM going to Arron who taking control of the game with some great finishes.

Under 9’s Blues – Travelled to Billingham, playing great football and scoring goals through Leland (4), Nate, Carter and Oliver. PPOTM was Carter and POTM went to Nate.

Under 9’s – Entertained Stockton, scoring a good goal from Harry.

Under 10’s Juniors – Welcomed Richmond Pro Player, in a fantastic game of football. Goals from Zach & Connor (2), with MOTM Kian assisting all three goals.

Under 10’s Reds – Welcomed Riverside Juniors United, putting in a great performance with goals from Thomas, Bear (2), and Fox (2). POTM was Parker and PPOTM was Korben.

Under 11’s – Entertained Mount Pleasant Rangers, with goals from Noah A (2) and Alan F. MOTM was awarded to Kayson R who was excellent in defence on his debut.

Under 12’s Blues – Played against Shincliffe Juniors winning impressively 5-1. Goals were scored by Bryan (2), Latitia, Kalel, Loa & Andrew, who won MOTM.

Under 12’s Reds – Played against Normanby Oranges, winning 3-1 with goals from Andrew (2) & Charlie. MOTM was Andrew.

Under 13’s Whites – Drew 3-3 against Hebburn Town, with goals from Chase, Liam & Oscar, who won MOTM.

Under 13’s Blacks – Had a tough game, showing glimpses of last week’s performance, but could not get the win. The Aycliffe goal was scored by Kai C, with MOTM going to Riley R.

Under 14’s – Continued their great start to the season with an impressive 9-0 win away to Northallerton Town Reds. Goals from Jonah (4), Lucas, Dan, Shay, Dom and Oscar ensured Aycliffe finished the weekend top of the league.

Under 15’s – Travelled to Barnard Castle in the county cup. In a very well contested physical game, Aycliffe dominated to win 6-1. Goals were scored by Layton W (3), Oscar J (2), & Jonah. MOTM was hat-trick hero Layton W.

Under 23’s – Travelled to top of the table Drunken Duck who held a 100% winning record, Aycliffe scored late through Andrew B, only for the opposition to equalise for 1-1. MOTM was shared between Alex B & Charlie W.
