New team – new look – new name!

March 20th, 2020 Martin Walker Business 0 comments 0

It has a new team, a new look and a new name!

Aycliffe Today has relaunched its business magazine, with the new name Aycliffe Business.

Business manager Sharon Hutchinson, clearly making her mark after being appointed to her new role in January, said: “We’re delighted with the new product – it really is completely different, while maintaining its positive vibe and energy.

“A lot of work and effort has gone into this new issue, particularly from our designer Sarah Carlton, but it has been worth it.

“Recent events have, of course, put a slight dampener on our relaunch, but we’ll still be promoting Aycliffe Business Park and its fantastic companies during these challenging times.”

The 44th issue of Aycliffe Business – the magazine for Aycliffe Business Park – features an interview with Avec Partnership owners Sarah Monk and Julie Sowerby, brilliantly written by freelance writer and former Northern Echo editor Peter Barron.

Freelance writer Colin Young has also brought a different style of writing with features on Greystone Legal, The Work Place and Sparta Security, with pictures by freelance photographer Chris Booth.

The March-April 2020 issue also includes features with Excelpoint, Resolution Media and Publishing, The Learning Curve Group, Lucid Technology Solutions and Thrive Marketing – while funeral director John Whitehouse answers our 20 questions over a cuppa in our popular Coffee Break.

The guest foreword for the new-look magazine is provided by Business Durham interim managing director.

Meanwhile, there’s news from Central Space, Finley Structures, UTC South Durham, BTS Facades and Fabrications, Hitachi, DurhamWorks and Warrens Emerald Biogas, while we take a look back at all the previous 43 front covers of Aycliffe Today Business.

The issue has also been supported by MT Print and Design of Darlington, NBSL, The Darlington Northern Echo Arena, Stiller Warehousing and Distribution, razorblue, Lemontop Creative, Unique Electrical Engineers, UED, Jackson’s Coffee House, Certax Durham, Burns Rowatt Photography and Darlington Hippodrome.

Printed copies of Aycliffe Business will be circulated to businesses, where possible, next week, while they’ll also be mailed out.
