NAFC Junior Section round-up

A round-up of this week’s football from Newton Aycliffe Junior Section.

Under 7’s Reds – Hosted Billingham Jnr Lions, playing some great passing football. Aycliffe’s goals scored by Kian (2) and Oscar (2) who also won MOTM.

Under 7’s Juniors – Played North Ormesby, in an entertaining game, goals were scored by Reign (3), Colton (2) and Lincoln. MOTM was Reign for great composure in front of goal and Luke for some fantastic goalkeeping.

Under 10’s Blacks – Entertained Riverside Juniors Inter, it was a tough game for Aycliffe. MOTM was Fin who was outstanding throughout.

Under 11’s Juniors – Travelled to Northallerton Town, in an entertaining game Aycliffe scored goals through Dom (2) and Jonah. MOTM was Dom for a great all round, battling display.

Under 11’s Juniors – Travelled to Darlington All Stars, rallying late to score goals through Phoebe and Dom (2). POTM went to the attacking three of Phoebe, Dom & Jonah.

Under 11’s Blacks – Played Velocity Eagles, Aycliffe started well scoring goals through Rhys and Connor. MOTM was Charlie John for a great all-round performance and Cody who made some great challenges and never gave up.

Under 12’s – Played against Stockton Hardwick in what was a very tough game, goals from Archie, Freddy and Layton gave Aycliffe the 3-2 victory. MOTM was Lucas.

Under 12’s – Travelled to Coulby Newham today, knowing a point would seal second place and promotion, Aycliffe went 1-0 down early, before Rhys levelled. In the second half Alex slotted home a penalty for the win and promotion. MOTM was Alex.

Under 13’s – Travelled to Redcar Royals, Mo scored a hat-trick before Oliver completed the scoring for a 4-2 win. MOTM was Mo.

Under 13’s – Lost a tight game 4-3 against Tibs. Goals from Mo (2) and James. MOTM was Logan who was outstanding in goal and saved a penalty.

Under 14’s Whites – Entertained Mount Pleasant Rangers, coming away with a hard fought 2-1 victory. Goals from Jake C and Jake G. MOTM was Henry.

Under 14’s Whites – Hosted Linthorpe Academicals coming away with an impressive 10-0 win to be crowned League Champions. Goals from Jayden (3), Henry, Sam, Jack (2), Tom, Noah, and Jake C. MOTM was Taylor.

Under 14’s Blacks – Hosted South Shields FC. Aycliffe raced into a 6-0 half time lead with Jake scoring four goals and Adam scoring two. Adam completed his hat-trick before Fynley and Joseph both scored for the game to finish 9-0. MOTM was Jake.

Under 15’s Whites – Won a huge game 2-1 against Hartlepool FC to preserve their division one status for next season. Kenzie scored both goals and was awarded MOTM.

Under 15’s Whites – Played against Stockton Town drawing 1-1 in an entertaining game, with Brad scoring the goal. MOTM was Connor.

Under 15’s Whites – Played Middleton winning 4-2, goals scored by Josh (2), McKenzie and Tyler.

Under 15’s Reds – Entertained Ferryhill, after a poor start Aycliffe were level at 1-1 going into the break, but a much improved second half performance saw Aycliffe come away with a comfortable 3-1 win. Goals were scored by Harry C (2) and Will. MOTM was Kai.

Under 15’s Reds – Travelled to Great Ayton, Aycliffe dominated the game winning 2-0 with goals from Kayden and Harry C. MOTM was Kayden. The win confirms Aycliffe’s promotion.

Under 18’s – Won 1-3 away to TIB’s, it was a game dominated by Aycliffe, with goals coming from Jack, Charlie and Zack which cements a second-place finish in Division one.
