Here’s a round-up of this week’s football from Newton Aycliffe Junior Section…

Under 7’s Juniors –Played against Washington NSG FC Cobras. The team stayed focused throughout the game and played some great football, with goals from Lincoln, Colton, Felix & Reign. MOTM went to Felix who had great all-round game.

Under 7’s Whites – Put in a spirited display against Leven with goals from Oliver and Felix. The team stuck together in difficult circumstances and played the game in the right way and were a credit to the club.

Under 7’s Reds – Played their final home game of 2022 against Billingham Jnr Lions. A great display resulted in three goals from Kian and a goal from Jack A. MOTM went to Jack I who gave an excellent performance in Midfield but the whole team played brilliantly well.

Under 9’s – Played against Kader United in a cup game, Aycliffe played some good football against a team five divisions higher, creating multiple chances. Koa scored Aycliffe’s goal with a beautiful assist from Charlie from a corner. MOTM went to the amazing Bobby for some outstanding last-ditch tackling including one of the goal line and all-round good game.

Under 10’s Whites – Played against Hilda Park FC, in what was an amazing game of football, Aycliffe passed well, and performed superb from defence to attack. Aycliffe scored two goals in two minutes from Oscar with the third coming from Kai. MOTM was Ryley who played out of position in defence.

Under 13’s – Had a disappointing result, losing 5-2 away to Bishop Aces. Alexander and Callum scored Aycliffe’s goals. MOTM was Logan who was outstanding.
