Under 8 whites started strong against Shincliffe and went into half time leading. The hosts grabbed a leveller just into the 2nd half. We then gave away an unlucky pen so didn’t get the result today. A much improved performance from the boys. MOTM Oscar Clarkson

U8’s Blacks played Spraire lads in a great contest. Regan scored a penalty but were pegged back level at HT. 2nd half was end to end, Aycliffe scored 2 quick goals through Fin and Regan’s great teamwork. Spraire pegged levelled again, but Regan restored the 2 goal cushion and they held on for a great result. Regan x3 Fin C x1 MOTM Finley outstanding in goal.

U9 blacks v Seating Carew Lions – A tough game for the blacks against a very good passing side. We never gave up and their commitment and effort was a credit to them. MOTM went to Max who made some outstanding saves, and Mathis who’s positioning, tackling / blocking in defence limited the goals conceded.

U11s V Billingham Whites. Highlights of the 1st half were a great save from Logan and a quality goal from Ethan. HT 5-1. Second half was much better with Jamie solid, Ethan and Alex linking well on the left and Keaton taking on the Billingham defenders. Despite attack after attack we couldn’t get back into it. Keaton scored another, FT 8-2. Ethan x1 Keaton x1 MOTM Jamie.

U12 Whites played league leaders Norton & Stockton. A win today and Norton would be champions. They took the lead after in the first half but Jack put Ethan through to level things up. Norton pressed on and finished 5-1 winners and champions. Aycliffe showed big improvement on our last meeting. Daniel was MOTM, excellent work rate.

U12s Blacks hosted Peterlee midweek & a great first half seen Jayden score a mint header. Some great passing saw Cody grab a second. We were tiring and they grabbed one back, 2-1 HT. 2nd half and tired legs showed, allowing them in for the equaliser. FT 2-2 MOTM, Danny, well done! On Sunday we played Seaham away. Alex grabbed 2, then they came levelled to go in 1-2 HT. second half straight out and they scored making it 2-2. Undeterred the blacks stuck together playing some outstanding football. Leon score 2 brilliant goals and fantastic assists saw Keaton get 1 too. Peterlee got one back. Great saves from the big man and it ended 6-3 to Aycliffe well done boys!

U13s whites played twice this week, losing narrowly to Spraire lads 2-1. Tyler Smith scored the goal & Harvey was awarded MOTM. On Sunday they hosted top of the league Boro Whites and played really well, and very unlucky to run out on the losing side 1-2. Brad scored the goal and Jack C was awarded MOTM!

U14s continued their fine start to the season with a comfortable 8-0 win away to Billingham united. With Goals from Tom, Sam, Reece, Jake, Dan and a hat trick from Trav.

U15s were away at league leaders Prudhoe Pumas saw Aycliffe lose 7-0. Despite the score line, the performance was good from Aycliffe, with a good round of applause off the opposition’s parents for their attitude and commitment.

U16s played twice this week, midweek traveling to second placed Richmond, coming home with all 3 points in a great 2-4 win. Goals from Leon, Brennan, Jack and Georgie. Takes us a point behind them in 2nd with 2 games in hand. Quality team performance. On Sunday we travelled Seaton Carew looking to continue our good form. We dominated the first half but a slip let their forward in to go in 1-0 down at HT. 2nd half, we continued the great football and were rewarded through 2 quality team goals from Brennan and Lewis….a really hard fought, well-earned 3 points. Up to 2nd, 3 games left. Well done lads.
