Woodham Sports Academy director Liam Clough said: “School sports is about so much more than just physical activity.

“It is about developing the whole person: character, leadership and self-esteem as well as health and well-being.

“Our aim is for athletes to aspire and achieve, not just in their chosen sport, but in all aspects of their lives.”
